What happened was when I was installing a amp into my 1995 Ford ranger I think I had hit the ground wire too much when trying to find a good ground spot and what happened is that now when I turn my radio up to a certain point it starts skipping.

I dont know if it could be a blown speaker? or a open connection somewhere? or what?

Please help me with my problem, because I love listening to music while I'm driving.

Thank You!!!

I'm confused by "hit the ground wire too much" and by "starts skipping".

Did you just add an amp to the existing radio to get more volume out of the standard speakers ? How about a little more detail.

Sorry I had tried installing the amp and the subwoofer into my truck and when I was finding a ground for it I guess after a couple of times trying to find a good spot it started making a weird skip/popping sound when I would turn it up.

Without hearing it, your description sounds as if it is a blown speaker. You're probably going to have to find someone locally to you to actually hear the problem and to help you.

Was this subwoofer working before you added the new amp?

If you're in Dallas, I'd be glad to help you.
