Problem Fuse Sign In

I am having a random repeating problem with a 2007 Honda Civic.
The fuse that operated the instrument panel lights keep on blowing randomly. I was thinking maybe an open ground but I checked the battery and the fuse box and have determined the grounds are sufficient.
The fuse that is giving me an issue is the bright yellow #20 towards the top of the image.

Re: Problem Fuse Sign In

That would be fuse #23 and it's supposed to have a 10amp fuse, not a 20.

Here's what it operates. Any one of these things or any related wring can cause the problem. Do you have an aftermarket stereo by chance?

Re: Problem Fuse Sign In

Whoa! If you really have a 20A fuse in a spot requiring a 10A and still blows that's trouble. Find this and don't over fuse it. No telling what along the way can't take the EXTRA 10A and burned already a maybe?

As HT asked - anything added to that circuit? No - I'd pick another one or way if so,

Re: Problem Fuse Sign In

Put a 50 amp fuse in there and you'll find the short. <sarcasm>

Any aftermarket equipment installed?
