Prob with starter or solenoid ? 2005 Chrysler 300 Sign In

2005 Chrysler 300, 3.6L 120,000 miles

3 months ago, car need to get jump start which was very strange since there was still full power with everything else.

Car ran fine till a month ago when it happened again, then again, then again until now it will not turn over but there is still power in car.

The last time I got it Running was 1 week ago when it made a weird sound like a winding sound from the starter.

I tried it this morning and heard clicking from starter, like the sound it makes when it needs to be jump started.

I just put a brand new battery in today. When installing I noticed the old battery that was in there was not even the right one. (Much smaller)

Now I don' t even hear the starter clicking anymore but the car still has full power and it makes an electrical sound like a defibrillator would make when you first turn on

Is it the starter solenoid?
The starter?
Both?
Electrical ?
I don't know much about cars so some advice would be nice.

Please help me. I am unable to take it to a shop for Financial reasons, but can do minor repairs myself.

Thank you

Charge your new battery with a charger as they are NOT fully charged when brand new. Need to begin there before anything else.

Now you get no reaction? IDK - it's up to you to know the car's features for antitheft which may now be activated OE or aftermarket then all connections known good for battery cables then can test what and where any problems are.
You needed a jump start some time ago so the problem then is probably still there.
Know some stuff about a battery. It doesn't mean one is good because some lights work. A starter takes more power than all other items combined to just crank the engine must be known good and charged. New is NOT known good yet to me. How old is the new one? They age from day it was made then on the shelf till sold. 50% might be no good by one year unsold and are marked with date they were made.
Until that's known all good there's nothing else I can think of to test,

Will a jump start be good enough ? Or does it need to go on charger ?

You really should use a charger NOT the car to charge battery AFTER a jump if that works as it's hard on the alternator.
There are slow and small battery chargers that work fine just take longer and should indicate that battery is as charged as that one can be but doesn't mean it's perfect just yet. Know that jumper cables near 100% lack the gauge needed to really jump start from one vehicle to another. Cables that cost less than $200 bucks usually aren't worth the space they take up. They do work if you leave them on for hours in some cases.

Just FYI for this site for you: For a "reply" just use the "reply" box not the "Quote" box. I removed other contact info you posted as you don't want that on an open forum such as this for the world to see. As desired you can click on someone's user name and look for the "Private Message" box is out of public sight.
Careful with all but the Chrysler vehicles are more sensitive to electrical stuff than most. Just disconnecting a battery makes headaches. Knowing it's correct and fully charged and ready is yet another thing. New is not a guarantee of being a good one as said just yet. It has to prove itself or be charged and tested as need be before you even install it.

Sounds backwards but a car battery is really to start the car then the alternator runs your electrical items after quickly putting back the charge it took out to crank it to start then battery is mostly just going along for the ride. Don't compare car battery to ones for phones/devices made to run till dead - car batteries are a different bird in that respect.
Be careful jumping cars with another vehicle. It's really not recommended anymore but rather from a jumper box or another battery known good OUT of a vehicle. You risk causing a problem to the donor vehicle if yours has a serious problem.

See what you can do to charge up your new battery. Hate to say you probably could have had it charged by any parts outlet that sold it if you asked,
