Power Antenna - Can it manually extend?

I have a 1993 Cadillac Deville with a power antenna problem. I"ve disconnected the two sets of wires that come into and come out of the relay switch on the antenna and jumpered the two positives on the "input" harness. So, now the radio comes on. But, since the problem appears to be the antenna motor (I think), how can I manually exend/pull out the antenna so at least it's in the up position until I can fully replace the motor or entire assembly? Can the antenna be manually pulled up/extended? Thx
