Phantom Electrical problem 2005 Hyundai Tucson Sign In

Hi
According to the dealership, my 2005 hyundai tuscon has a "pahntom electrical problem." There is a power drain coming from somewhere causing the vehicle to intermittantly not start. Always happens after being left overnight. Has occurred 10-12 times. Initially the problem appeared to be linked to the radion (radio would mysteriously stop working), it has been replaced twice and seems to be okay now. The battery and starter have also been replaced, still no luck ~was towed back in to the dealership today. Of note, the power door locks don't work on an intermitant basis either... any ideas? Frown

How old is the battery. It should be marked on the case in code more simply.

If known original - what is the DOM of the vehicle? Check driver's door jam,

Battery is approximately 6 weeks old. Can't check doorjam as vehicle is back at the dealership.

My point was only that a 2005 vehicle could have been manufactured in 2004 and battery could be a month or more older than the vehicle which by now is too old for a battery to count on it.

I don't know what is draining it but can say that finding the battery dead a few times is hard enough on a new one! How many times has this battery (approx six week old) been found dead?

Also - Dead battery when cold (below 32F) out can quickly ruin a good battery. It may or may not be the cause or the result but it needs to be avoided as hard as that is with erratic stuff. It stinks but you have to know battery is up to par before other items can be known good or bad,
