No electrical what so ever 1990 Honda Civic Sign In

Left my lights on, now I have ZERO electrical, not even the horn. Tried to jump, even replaced battery. I dont want to spend a gazillion dollars on towing and maintanence. Is this something that I can fix myself? Please help!!

Is this to say a new battery still doesn't give you anything electrical working? Check that battery new or not and the cable connections at both ends of cables for now....

also there is a main fuse under the hood in a small black box; on one of the fenders...if i remember correctly on the left inner fender as you sit in the car. there should be/ may be a fuse right at your positive battery post as well. also hondas are suseptible to the small wires at the positive battery post getting corroded and losing contact.this will cause total loss of electric as you describe.

Yes, I did purchase a new battery, then I changed the main fuse. The fuse was the problem initially, but I am still getting intermittent electrical outages. I assume this means I have a short somewhere, but the corrosion issue sounds like a good place for me to start. The car is old and the previous owner didnt do much maintenance. Best method for de-corroding my connections??? Keep 'em comin...
