Sign In Hello, all. 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis GS (v8). My friend told me today that his brake lights don't work, then they do work, then they don't work, but now they work........HUh??? Does anyone have a diagram of the brake light switch on these Merc's..................... Hey, Hammer-time? Remove hairpin retainer and slide stop light switch, pushrod, nylon washers and bushings away from brake pedal, and remove switch.
