I bought a 2003 Saturn L300 3.0 w 112,00 mls on it 4 days ago... since then 3 lights on dash have been coming on and going of...those would be the service engine light, the service light w the wrench in it and the airbag light...I brought it to a man who plugged it into computer and checked history, this is what he came up with:U1000-class 2 comm prob, U1024-Loss w Trans, U1064-Loss BCM_VTD_DIMPZM-SBM, U1016 U PCM. Does anyonne know what this means, and is it something I should loook into or return car? I paid 4275.00 for it....

L300girl; If you can return it, I'd make it a condition of sale that they fix the problems. The light with the wrench on it, if not mistaken, is oil pressure. The service engine soon light is the computer seeing a problem. The BCM (body control module) is not communicating with the PCM (powertrain control module). Could get very expensive, very quickly. U codes are network communciation codes. with all those codes, something is pulling the networks down....(Modules can't talk to each other). Could be something a simple a short to power in the fuse box all the way to one of the modules being out & taking out the network.... Personally I'd return it if I could... Saturns are genrally pretty good cars, but right out of the gate like this & I would be leary.....
