Heres a head scratcher I have an 02 dodge ram 1500 w/ 360ci w/ 66000 mi, I didnt know until I saw the red & blues in the rearview that I have no tail or liscence plate lights,on either side but brake lights, turn signals, working fine replaced all bulbs,fuses,relays & snipped off pigtail for trailer still no luck, there are no obvious breaks in wiring Im at a loss any ideas would be greatly appreciated thx in advance Vince

You're just going to have to test the circuit starting at the Integrated Power Module.

hey thx for the advice and the diagram just discovered no running lights at all, never even checked front til just now.

You're right, it won't be easy. It appears that the switch outputs all signals on the same wire at different voltages and the module determines what it's requesting from the voltage signal. You're likely going to need a professional scan tool to be able to do anything with this system.

yeah cuz no prob with dash lights they are on that same position on switch and im thinking might be cheaper & easier to just buy new switch and try it, cant be too hard to change out,

ok so i ran with the idea of the switch, but heres the thing didnt think of it til this morn, cuz havent been driving the truck I work wierd hours been stuck with my wifes aztek  i bought my truck used, has aftermarket remote start, dont even know what brand no name on fob just a service number anyway when i woke up today a light came on in my head used remote start still no running lights so that overides the switch right?? if so where do those normally tie in at and are they fuseable inline somewhere?? because fuses in block are not blowing like if it was shorting out
