I JUST REPLACED BURNT OUT ALTANATOR IN A 2003 MUSTANG. NOW NEW ONE IS GOING.ANY IDEAS WHY THIS IS HAPPENING? Unsure

Is new one going or gone? If battery is weak enough it can overstress a new alternator and burn it out,
