I have a 88 Mazda 323 1.5 automatic. It idles ok but it starts chocking when revved. There is a spark jumping across from the negative terminal to the primary tower of the igntion coils. What could be the cause of that? I have checked the spark plugs, cleaned the distributor cap, changed the HT lead and replaced the ignition coil but to no avail. Could it be that the condenser is at fault? I did change the coil and it's still sparking... I guess what i'm asking is what would the most likely culprit be should the coil be ok....
