My 2005 300 has an after market alarm on it ( code alarm ) and it seemed that my problems started after it was installed but i'm not sure. At first my running light fuse was blowing and I had to replace it about twice a week. After complaining to the audio store they called tech support and said one wire should be ran differently. Although this did slow the blown fuse problem down..... It did not get rid of it. I only had to swap fuses out about three times in four months since they ran the wiring differently. Well about a couple weeks ago I came out from a buddies house and my car would not come out of park. I found out that the brake light fuse is also the fuse that allows the shifter to unlock when you push on the brake pedal. I then found out that with a new fuse in when I turn my running lights on my brakes lights are illuminating. ;( Grrrr And when the running lights are in the off position i'm hittin my brake and the parking lights are illuminating. We have taken just about every wire off from the alarm and it's still doin this. No clue where to go from here... Any suggestions? Any and all help at this point is more than appreciated.
Thanks, Mark
