Lights in 73' Chevy ht haywire

After having alot of work done on my son's 73 chevy 1/2 ton pick-up somehow the wiring got jacked. We get no lights at all in the left rear or front side blinkers. When the right blinker is turned on the rear right blinker and liscence plate lights flash. When it comes to electrical stuff I don't even know where to start. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean wiring got "jacked?" At the age you should suspect all bulb sockets and that correct bulbs are in each socket and that the bulbs are good. Any trailer wiring can get messed up and cause funky problems too,
