Lights dont work when i turn them on (rear) Sign In

Hey everybody, got a 95 ford f-150 5.0L, real quick, when my lights are on rear brake lights and signal lights work but when i turn the lights on, the lights, brake, and rear signals dont work. I checked all fuses and they're good, also checked the bulbs and they're good. Any suggestions, stumped.

There is a ground on the left side of the engine compartment near the radiator support. Check and make sure that the ground is clean and tight.

by looks clean and tight does that mean you physically unbolted it from the truck and cleaned up the connections where the wires are held to the body or did you just look at is while together? This truck has had that connected for almost two decades now. If the ground isn't getting good enough contact then it is overloaded when you try to run multiple bulbs on it and you get the result you currently have. Its like pinching off a garden hose so it will only let out a little trickle of water. There's water coming out, but it can't flow at a high enough rate to get anything done.
