Lacrosse electronics go crazy after battery recharge. Sign In

2009 Buick Lacrosse CXL 3.8L

The car was left for a couple weeks and died. I have a portable jump battery system. I hooked that up to it and electronics turn on like normal now when I open door, insert key. But then when I try to actually start the car it's like it goes crazy: electronics pulsate, the horn even goes off. Any idea what is happening?

You've probably set off a security/alarm system by letting it go dead which is like disconnecting the battery. Betcha. Hope that's it and you have the info to reset it somewhere,

I thought that and tried doing some research into that, but didn't get anywhere. Any idea where I'd look to figure out how to reset?

Remove the battery and have it charged and tested. It sounds like either the booster pack doesn't have enough power or it's not connecting 100%.
