One day when my son got out of the car, the door was shut, but my gauge said that it was open and my dome lights stayed on. I tried to shut all of the doors again, but nothing helped. Now the windows and door locks do not work on the passenger side and the dome lights stay on all the time. I replaced the main window switch on the driver door, but that did not help.

Unfortunely, this is going to require the use of a high end scan tool that can access most of the modules in the vehicle.
The passenger side window, lock, and door ajar switch are inputs and outputs for the passenger's door module. Basically the door module is a computer that controls the functions in that door. The module also communicates over a data bus with other modules such as the body control and driver's door module. You'll need the tool to see the input and output states to get an idea where to look for the problem.
