Intermittent Speedo Sign In
Hi,

Got an intermittent speedo on a 90 Chevy Silverado. Was this a common issue? Wondering if I need to spend the time to chase down a loose connection or whether I can throw on a new sensor and save myself a lot of time.

I wouldn't say that a speed sensor on those is a common failure item, but a lot of people replace them because they are too lazy to diagnose the actual culprit and replacing the sensor ends up not solving their problem.
