1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme: When door is opened the interior lights go out, when door is closed the interior lights go on. Pull slightly on outside door handle and the lights go out. Release handle and the lights go back on. Must pull 40 amp fuse on passenger side engine compartment to disconnect all lights when parked. Happened while driving with air conditioner on causing moisture to collect in vent.
I think it is a three-way switch situation where the switching mechanism in dashboard is not working any more due to water dripping into switch. Please advise...

Take globe out of the interior light. Leave cover off so the wetness in the contacts can dry.
