Ignition Switch ??? Login - Sign Up

I have a 1991 GMC Jimmy 4 wheel Drive 4.3 engine that I need to replace the ignition switch in. Does anyone no how difficult this is to do and just what do I need to do this job. I do have a steering wheel puller and a lot of tools and consider myself a fair mechanic. If anyone can help I would appreciate the info Thank You Huffy

Are you changing the ignition "switch" or the ignition "lock"?

You don't pull the wheel for that. It's on top of the column, half way down. Lowering the column will make it easier. Disconnect the battery if it has an airbag.
