I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport and I have an issue with fuses and lights and starting Sign In

I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport, 4x4, v6 and I have an issue. I can't get it to
start or even crank over. I posted this problem before but now I have
more info. The ignition was left on for 5 days straight. I changed the
battery and nothing, no turning over, no dash lights.I found that the "METER" fuse was burnt out and
unhooked the lock mechanism that holds you in park (automatic) until
you depress the brake pedal. Now I turn the key and get dash lights back but still no turn over. Here's where I get confused and stumped.
If I jumper the connection that was plugged into that lock, the fuse
blows again. The other problems that appeared after this 5 day oops are
this. I now have no rear running lights, no brake lights, no
directional lights(not even the sound), no interior lights or map
lights.., but I have reverse lights and flashers. I pulled the fuse to
the rear lights(not a fuse but a big black 5 prong thing in the fuse
box) and could not read 12 volts to anything when I turn on the lights.
I can't get the brake switch to give continuity like the book says I
should get. What does all this point to? What do all these things have
in common?

Your vehicle has two fuse/relay boxes. One under the driver's side dash and one inside the engine compartment. Check all fuses and maxi-fuses. Use a test light or an ohmmeter to check them.

I looked under the hood and tested all that I know how. All fuses are good and fusible links are good. I don't have money to take it to a professional and don't know how to test the black boxes.
