I2006 buick Rainier blower does nothing

I2006 buick Rainier blower does nothing Sign In

2006 Buick Rainier 4.2 eng.- Ok Auto climate control ;blower motor and resistor replaced, in coming wires black/red show 14 volts ; the comm. wire and positive change with blower speed 6+- 12+. What am I'm missing? Also start of problem was blower stayed on....... Please help and thanks for time in advance.

Ok, you need to be a little clearer on what you are testing and the results.

This is DC wiring so there is no "common". Just power and ground

Start out at the blower motor and test for power and ground arriving at it.

Ok When I said comm. I meant communication wire for speed adjustment purple or blue thinner then the rest . I did find problem its was bad connection at the blower resistor ( after market part that needed to splice in new connector) the connector was sloppy. Thank you for your time.

OK, glad you found it.

If you used crimp connectors on that it's not good idea as. Solder and heat shrink is the way to go.
