2003 Mitsubishi Galant
Just a Beep Beep works fine.
But if you lay on the horn for a Beeeeeeeeeeeeep, it stays on. Also, my frantic daughter came out to her car today where the horn was blowing on its own.
Seems like a horn button issue to me. But how do I fix it?

#1 if you can find the horns unplug them and head right out to have that fixed not knowing if some alarm failure or what that has to go.
Never mind annoying everyone around and probably end up with smashed windows it would kill the battery,

I've already pulled the fuse. It's not an alarm issue. And I want to do this myself...

Go out and price a new horm switch but don't get shocked if it comes with an air bag. many do.

check the horn RELAY - try swapping (for test) with a like relay ...

If you are doing Kev's test and don't want to annoy everyone around you, leave the horn unhooked and hook the power wire into a 12v test light. When the light is on, that would mean the horn would be blowing. Nice way to save your sanity while troubleshooting.
