Heated Seats and Electronic control on A/C Sign In

I have a 2004 Lincoln LS, I was comming home from my sisters house a dog came out of no where and jumped out in front of meMad, and I slammed my brakes and my tea in my cup holder spilled all over the air conditioning control and A/C and Heated seats. I can't get some of the buttons to push in nor will some of them work all the time. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Re: Heated Seats and Electronic control on A/C Sign In

Wow! Could be trouble but I'd try some things before giving in to replacing controls.

Try duplicating the tea on something to test with when let dry.

Electronic cleaners probably will harm interior plastics parts, vinyls, rubber items and things painted so that may not be a good choice.

I might try to direct distilled water at the area to clean OR WD-40 if it proves to disolve your test stain of the tea. WD-40 is usually friendly to paints, vinyls and will clean certain dirts and doesn displace moisture. It is mostly fish oil believe it or not but just does have a long list of unique qualities and will clean up (usually) if you get it where you don't want.

Not sure if it will help disolve a sugar type problem but water should. None of this is without some risk but it's broken now so I'd carefully give some things a try.

Other ideas guys?
