Headlights and dome lights flicker

I have a 1998 ford mustang GT 4.6 liter engine with 119,000 miles. I have a problem with the headlights and
inside lights flickering no matter what time of day. The volt meter is
constantly going up and down. I have purchased a new battery, new alternator and a new headlight switch to no a vale. Any suggestions?"!

You have a connection issue somewhere. It could be anywhere in the power supply chain including but not limited to the battery connections, fuse box connections, ignition switch or any connectors in between.

Thank you for your reply/answer. I have thought about the issue being in the supply chain. I have located a corroded (small) wire that runs from the voltage regulator to the fuse panel, just thinking there's the possibility of that causing all the problem.

From the voltage regulator? Where is this regulator?

Oh o.k. so I guess it could be a million to one things, that's usually the way it goes with troubleshooting a wiring issue. Thank you for your suggestions.

Yes, there are a lot of possibilities. that's whay the way it is done is to systematically follow a wiring diagram while the problem is present to find out where the power is being lost.
