Sign In I need help.... Alright I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder XE 2WD 5 Speed with 166,000+ miles. When I bought the vehicle i knew that the Tackometer and gas gage did not work. I was going to leave it go because I figured that the gas gage had to do something with the relay in the gas tank and would cost a fortune. I recently found out that it wasn't anything internal of the car itself, but the whole instrument cluster. I found an instrument cluster at a used auto parts site and put it in today. The RPM gage and speedometer and everything works great not, but the gas gage is still not functioning. I know that it isn't anything with the fuel pump or anything because when I am out of gas the fuel light still comes on..could it be a wire or something else? Sign In It can be tested by grounding the correct wire at the tank and you have to know it's the right wire and only do it for a second with someone watching the gauge.
