I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX. Recently the low beams quit working, but the high beams and parking lights would work. After checking the fuses which were in good shape I guessed that it had to be the dimmer switch. I purchased a new turn signal/lights unit and swapped it out. Low beams worked and I thought the problem had to be fixed. about 1 month later (now) I had a left headlight go out. Swapped the bulb, had both lights and was good last night. Tonight I turn the lights on and no low beams again. I have high beams on both still so I'm back to where i was a month ago. Any suggestions?

There is a recall on these where the lowbeam terminal on the wiring harness can overheat causing the low beams to go out.
Call the dealer with your VIN # to see if this recall has been preformed.
NHTSA04V086000 is the recall #
