2015 GMC sierra 1500 denali 5.3L V8 It appears this issue happens when the truck has been sitting 3 or more days. The battery checks out. When the key is inserted and turned the dash and all systems come on. However no crank/no start. Persistent trying to turn the truck over is required followed by hitting the remote start. Remote start will result in a single click coming from the fuse box. ( on one occasion, the remote start actually started the truck and all was fine). Once a click is heard, I will continue to use the key to turn it over. After 20-30 turns it will start. Is it possible for a starter, ignition or relay to be faulty intermittently? or could I be missing something? Thanks, Chris

, Yes, all of those things are possible and more. That's why the circuit has to be troubleshooted during the failure. You can't just start throwing parts at it as that will get expensive fast. The first steps will be to check and clean all the battery cable connections at both ends. You can try tapping on the starter body while a helper is trying to start it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
