Furious: CANNOT FIND 1 3/8" GROMMET Can't Post

I've taken down my headliner and noticed that the wiring to my 3rd brake light was handled with a 1 3/8 inch hole cut into the metal. Obviously any time you have wires running along the edge of metal you are supposed to have some sort of protection, like a grommet, but this hole was completely unprotected. Naturally I decided to go to Lowe's real quick to get the grommet and move on to my next task.

Lowe's didn't have it.
Ace didn't have it.
Home Depot didn't have it.
Advance Auto Parts didn't have it.
Autozone didn't have it.
Radio Shack didn't have it.

Now, as I suppress the urge to go completely postal on the next store that does not have this mundane object (I am not kidding as I am very angry at the moment), can someone tell me where the hell I can find a rubber grommet for a hole with a 1 3/8ths of an inch diameter?

Also, can someone tell me why the diameter of the hole into which the grommet will be placed is never listed on the packaging for the grommet? The sizing always shows the final diameter of the hole the grommet provides for objects and the total outer diameter of the grommet but the packaging never displays what I find to be either the first or second most important dimension of the grommet. I have restored to looking online for this and because this important piece of info isn't provided I'm kinda screwed. Is it always halfway between the outer and inner diameter?

If you can't find a grommet, you can slice a piece of rubber hose down one side and fit that around the edge of the hole.

Have you tried a body shop or a custom stereo shop? They have need for such things and may have them in stock.

Or bvuy a 1 1/2 inch and cut out what you don't need. We have to do that constantly due to the different size holes the Police drills into the body.

By the way, why did you go to an electronics shop and three home improvement stores looking for car parts? Thats like looking for a pork chop in the middle east isn't it?
