1987 K5 Blazer fuel gauge is not working. When key is on, it will register way past full. No other movement. Gauge is new. Sending unit or short in wiring?? Other?? Thanks

Hey buddy, 95% sure its the sender or a bad earth. Bad earth will make it read crazy, sender will just not let it work.
*SOLUTION*
Take it to a mechanic, or buy a new fuel sender
