I have a 1994 ford f-150 truck, 300 6cyl. 4.9L elec.fuel injection, twin tanks , yesterday while driving it just shut off, i thoght it might be one of the two fuel pumps, so I hot wired the pumps and they work fine, so then I thought it might be the fuel relay, bought a new one and installed it, truck still won't start. The system is only getting 6 volts from the relay to the pumps, should be 12 volts, Do you know what the problem is?

Check the Inertia switch under the dash on the passenger side.

The Inertia switch is fine, Power is going to the pumps from the relay, but it's only 6 volts instead of the 12 volts needed.

Well it's 12 when it comes into the relay, or should be. You need to do some testing to include a voltage drop test. Make sure you are testing that with the pump unplugged because the pump could be pulling it down.

It's pretty obvious that you are over your head with electrical diagnostics. I suggest you bring it to diagnostic tech.
