I recently replaced the ignition switch because there was no "resistance" when I turned the key into the start position. The new switch didn't correct the problem. What could be causing this problem? It also will not start. The fuse box shows only partial fuses are receiving fire in the run position. Charge light on the instrument panel is not lighting up but all others seem to be working. You can tell if that happened because you can move the rod pin that moves the ignition switch back and forth without the key moving. The actuator rod with its pin missing that is in the middle of the steering column: Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
