2004 F150 4x4 backing lights do not come on when reversing. I have checked fuses, bulbs and replaced the DTR sensor, there is definitely power to the DTR but no power getting through to the lights, have aligned DTR per instructions to neutral line etc. Not sure what else to try?

If you have power coming into the circuit but the switch is not sending it back out, that is obviously a bad switch but after it comes out of the range sensor, it triggers a relay that forwards a different power source to the lights.

thanks,
As I just purchased a new DTR switch I'm assuming it's good. How do I check if it's not? Is there a way to check the relay. Sorry I'm not used to electrical diagrams so a little hard to follow.

You're going to need a test light or DVOM to test the circuit. If this is not your thing, then you probably need to pay someone else to do it. Someone has to follow that diagram and systematically find out where the power is being lost.

You can at least test both fuses in the diagram.
