Hiya folks. I have a D reg Nissan Micra. Recently its been misfiring when im driving. It comes and goes. Iv looked into the engine and the a ticking sound in comming from the distributor terminal. Iv just had a big SHOCK when i unplugged the ticking leed. : ( The 4 leeds that go to the spark plugs are fine its just the leed that goes into the middle terminal of the distributor. Is it best just to replace that leed? Please can someone help me as im still recoverying from the massive shock i had this morning.  [

If you hear it you can probably see this when dark and perhaps that would help as to whether the problem is the wire or the dist.
If you are up for it - cap, rotor and wires should cover it all,
