Year: 2004 Make: Pontiac Model: Grand Am Engine Size: 3.4L V6 Mileage: 113k Ran into a couple of electrical problems today and I'm hoping you guys might be able to help me out. Out of the blue today my Viper remote wouldn't disable the alarm. At first I assumed the battery was dying in the remote, so after setting off the alarm a few times and eventually finding my spare remote, it seemed to work again, only to have the same problem hours later with both remotes. The next thing to happen was as I was driving, the "click-click-click" noise, normally reserved for when you have a turn signal on, starting going off while I was driving, whether or not the signal was on. I pulled the fuse on the turn signals and it stops the noise, however, I tried replacing the fuse and it persists. I'm assuming these two issues are related, but I have no idea what could be causing them. If anyone has an idea, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you Viper may be failing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Turns out it was the connectors on the multi-switch that were dirty. This video showed me how to easily clean them to fix the problem: link deleted.... not allowed Regarding the Viper, I reset the system with the valet switch and that seemed to work as well. Thanks for the suggestions.
