1999 ford f350 super duty diesel
i have an problem with electrical.... yesterday the dome light would not shut off inless i was driving down the road... pulll to a stop it would come back on..... then the radio went off with the truck running.... it will come back on if i turned the light switch on... i shut the truck off and the radio stayed on ..... i was like oh ok the lights are still on.. well i shut the lights off and the radio went off... But the running lights wouldnt shut off !!!!(parking lights)
after a bit the batteries were dead...!!!! i jumped the truck and got it started... the lights are now off... but the problem with the dome light and radio are still there... ok i tried checking all the fues and none were blowen.
now when i have the door open and turn the key on i dont get a door open light either intill i trun the lights on

First place to start would be having the GEM (generic electronic module) scanned for trouble codes. You'll need an enhanced scan tool. The GEM is basically the body control module and controls things like the accessory delay relay, interior lamps, and etc.
