2008 Nissan Sentra 4Dr Sedan (74,350 mi). When I purchased it in Jan. 2010, the driver's window hesitated when either going up or down. Over the past 23 months, it has gotten worse, but STILL works smoothly "after" I hold the button steady (in either direction) for up to 10 mins. All of the other three power windows work perfectly. There is no grinding noise, or any noise, just no response for a long time, then all of the sudden it just goes up or down as the others do. Not being mechanical, I don't want to unnecessarily purchase a regulator or motor if it's a problem more easily corrected. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You're not going to know unless you take it apart and inspect. Many suppliers sell the regulator and motor as a combo now anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
