Dash Lights and rear lights no longer working - 97 Chevy Lumina

Ok, so here is my problem.
I own a '97 Chevy Lumina
It ran fine when I drove it to work, I didn't notice at that time if my lights were working or not, mainly do it it being day time.
When I got out of work, I started my car up with no problems, then I noticed that all my dash lights were not working.
My first thought was my dimmer, but that wasn't it,
My brother checked my fuses when I got home, and he didn't find any blown fuses.
We did replace some fuses just to be sure.
I didn't notice my rear lights were out till a cop pulled me over and let me know. (got let off with a warning and was told to keep my hazards on at night till I get them fixed)
and now I'm here.
