I have a 1994 Chrysler Concorde, 3.3L, with about 169,000 miles. Relpaced the fuel pump and filter about two weeks ago. I installed another battery until the original was charged back up and then re-installed the original battery when it was charged. Now, when I turn off the engine, nothing in the car works, [i.e,]... interior lights, seat adjustment, after market radio ( worked without the key on ) , as if there's no battery in the car at all, but when I restart the engine, everything works, but have to reset the radio and climate controls every time. I checked and rechecked all fuses on the drivers side dash and the main buss fuse under the hood. Both small secondary wires ( Black with pink strip and light brown )from the battery on the positive terminal are intact and has voltage as far as I can follow them through the wire harness.

If when all this happens, you swap the batteries and everything is ok, the older battery is junk. Very possible it simply is no longer holding a charge. Steve

Thought of that as well, battery tested in great shape. It's like the car looses memory when shut off the engine, and when it restarts, everything works, but it all has to be reset, Radio looses channel settings, and temp controls go back to default. Also installed new alternator too.
