While I was driving my car died. It will not start completely (won't turn over). I tested the electrical components in the engine. I have tried replacing the coil and it still wouldn't turn over. I then tried replacing the crank shaft sensor and still nothing. When I run the tests it seems as though there is some power going to the coil but it is not allowing the plugs to spark...even after replacing the coil. The spark plugs test fine. Not sure what else to test or possibly replace. Don't want to keep buying parts that are not able to be retuned after opening.
Help please!!!!!!

Have you checked to make sure the distributor is turning during crank?

OOOPS. Didn't think of that. Okay, what I was getting at, I was thinking timing belt. Not 100% sure that the 2.0 has one. I know the 1.9 and 2.3 does, but...
