Ok here goes. 1997 Chevy Silverado 1500, 5.7 Ltr. Electric everything. Clicking noise under dash. Thought it was the flasher(but a bit slower). noise persists even when flasher is pulled and key is removed. And my battery drains daily. I am at a loss. Any help to point me in the right direction would be good.

Thanks in advance.

Try turning the A/C/heater off and see if it stops

You'll have to follow it to it's source. I have no idea.

Me neither. I guess the dash is coming out Saturday. Thank you for the help.

Don't take the dash out if you haven't identified the problem first. You need it connected to find it.

I was going to take just the instrument cluster out. If the noise stops I know where to start my trouble shooting. If not it gives me access to the wiring and relays back there. At least that is my thought process.

No, none of that is true.

After market alarm or remote start system installed in this vehicle? Could be alarm is going off and a relay is operating.

Did you ever figure out what it is? Because my truck is starting to click like that as well. It is on the passenger side, I know that much.
