Car won't stay on with Remote Starter Sign In

Is there a way to reset the remote starter? Having a problem with the remote starter. When I push the remote starter button it starts the car but then it dies and then it starts again and it will keep doing it over and over again. I did have to disconnect the negative side of the battery. That might of messed things up. Any help with fixing this problem would be a appreciated. The car is a Toyota Corolla 1999 CE Thanks

Re: Car won't stay on with Remote Starter Sign In

Will it stall if you just use the key? Also - If aftermarket they fail all the time with some age on them. Default should be to shut off if anything is out of order and YES IMO if battery was disconnected without a memory saver it might have messed with it. Who knows how aftermarket stuff was designed like that?

I don't think it was offered OE for this car but can't be sure,
