1999 Toyota Camry The battery was dead, I replaced the battery and now there is a wire next to the battery that is no longer attached to anything. i don't know what it was attached to, possibly the black rod that held the battery inplace. Could be a ground for something else. Anyway, the windows, radio, ac, turn signals, wipers, etc. do not work. The car runs, but many of the electrical functions aren't working. Any ideas? fuses or something? Thanks a lot

jahnissi; Can you follow the wire to see where the other end is attached? Does it go into a loom, or does it connect to the body of the car, or the engine? Can you take a pic and upload it? Loren SW Washington

That wire most likely attaches to the positive battery terminal. There is usually at least one individual accessory feed wire that attaches to the positive post. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
