I have a 1995 Cadillac Concours and while driving i hit something in the road and my car cut off. we looked underneath and what i hit was some type of rigging brace and it ripped the catalytic converter shield plate off but nothing was leaking, I had it towed about 5 miles and still we found no leaks, I checked all of the fuses and relays that I could find and the car cranks like it wants to start and the fuel pump comes on when I turn the key forward but what is weird to me is that when you turn the key forward there is a clicking noise under the gas peddle and it stops if you press down on the gas the peddle, the noise gets faint if you lift the gas peddle, any ideas? thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Something that is this complex probably needs to be looked at in person. I would take it to a mechanic, cause I am outta ideas without seeing it?
