Brake/Stop light problem.

Hello,
I own a 2000 Toyota Camry LE V6 with 84,000 miles on it. I had this car for about 4 years now and have never been to fix this problem. Here is my problem:
The brake light (and the spoiler LEDs) won't come on. The Brake Light Failure Sensor won't detect any problems. Hence, the dashboard does not indicate any problems. I tried replace the sensor and then it would for 2 or 3 days and then the problem relapes. If I remove sensor and reinsert it or just shake the connections, it comes on but then it goes off in day or so. Also sometimes, when brake light comes on, it blows off my head light bulbs. Once both the headlight went off together and two one bulbs each blew off.
Looks like there is short or system overload in the somewhere. Any clues or help in tackling this problem will be very much appreaciated. Also if the brake light failure sensor is the problem, will bypassing it solve the problem? Also how to bypass it?

This is a common problem. On the left hinge of the trunk there is a wire harness that goes along it. As it opens and closes, over a long period of time, the wires become weak where the harness bends causing them to break. Open the black harness and lightly pull on the wires inside to find the weak ones,and then properly solder them to fix the problem.
