When I use Right or Left turn Signal both rear lights blink. They were working fine two weeks ago. Front signals work OK.... I have checked both bulbs and cleaned the bulb sockets with steel wool. They both look OK. Any help is appreciated. 88 Ford Chassis with a 22' Rally Jamboree Motor home on it. 460 Ford engine. 38,000 mi.......

Somehow the rear turn signal circuits are crossed into each other. You should inspect the wiring for the rear turn signals. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

What happens when the emergency flasher is on? Does the truck have a flasher can for the turn signal and a second for the emergency flash? If they are the same can you swap the cans and see if the problem is one of the flash unit cans.

Car1104, please stop posting inaccurate information. You came here asking for help in your own car. Your advice is just confusing people and sending them in the wrong direction. We have capable people here that do know what they are talking about. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Bad flasher will either make turn signal lamps stay on or not work at all. They don't cause the front signals to work fine while the rear signals are both flashing at the same time when using the turn signals. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
