99 mercury cougar

I have a 99 cougar and my brother was fixing my brake lights one day and after that it just died and wont even click over. My dad has checked the starter, battery and computer. Do you know what is wrong with it? and How to fix it? I really need it since i start my first yr at college in 2 days :(

Wow, I would really like to help you but this post is so vague I really wouldn't know where to start.....
I'm not sure how in depth the tests were that you father ran, at this point I'm not even sure if the battery is good or not. We need to know how the battery was tested, where you have power & when and where you don't have power and when.
Is there another family friend or someone with a mechanical background that can look at it to give you some more specific questions to ask if they have trouble?
Good luck on college and don't let this stress you out, it'll work out for you....... My youngest of 9 just started her 1st year of college this week as well...
