99 chevy s10 taillights won't go off

The tail lights in my 1999 Chevy S 10 pick-up will not turn off. I've tried replacing the brake light switch which did nothing. At first my brakes were lighting up, but now they won't light up and my tail lights refuse to go off. I've checked the fuses and they all look to be fine. I really need some help, any response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

pull out your taillamp relay and check for power at the trigger terminal. if you don't have power its a stuck relay. If you do, look at the switch to solve your dilemma
