99 Grand Cherokee Turn Signal issues.

My 99 Grand Cherokee 4.0L 6-cyl Left run signal has a working intermittently issue. After replacing the turn signal switch arm assembly and the relay, the left signal seems to have a mind of its own and only works occasionally. What do I look for next?

When you stated the signal has an issue, do you mean it quit flashing on and off and just stays on? Are the front and rear turn lamps lit when it stops? If you turn the hazards on when the left signal quits, do all the lamps work?

Pardon me, what I meant to say is that the light links, all the bulbs work, everything else works properly including the hazards and the right turn signal, I just get no response from the left side. Then suddenly it will work normal then just as suddenly stop.

Still don't understand what you mean. When the left turn signal stops working, do you mean the indicator light or left rear and front lamps don't illuminate. Or do you mean they are illuminated, but not blinking.

They stop all function. No dashboard illumination , no bulb Illumination. Bulbs work with hazards though,

This a guess, but the combination flasher (relay) input isn't being pulled to ground by the turn signal switch on the left sense input circuit.
The way this works is that the flasher relay has three inputs and two outputs. It also has a power source and ground. Obviously the ground and power to the relay is good because you have operations of the hazards and the right turn signal when the left turns signals aren't operational. You also know that with the hazards turned on you have operation of all lamps which eliminates the relay outputs, the lamp circuits, and the lamps themselves.
That leaves three inputs, left and right input signals and the hazard input. You know the right and hazard input signals are good. So that leaves the left turn signal input as the possible culprit.
The way the input operates is the flasher sends voltage down the left turn signal input circuit that goes to the switch. When the switch is closed on the left hand turn position this grounds that circuit causing the voltage in that circuit to be pulled low. The microprocessor in the relay detects this low voltage and enables the left turn signal internal relay to turn the lamps on and off. When you move the switch so the left turn signal input circuit is open, the microprocessor stops the function of the internal relay, so the lights turn off.
You need to figure out what is going on in this circuit when the problem is occurring. You need a volt meter and it has to be connected to the circuit at the turn signal switch connector.
You want to monitor the voltage at the turn signal connector at the light blue/white wire. The circuit has to be active, so you have to back probe the connector with the connector plugged in. With the left signal off, you should see 12 volts. When the left signal is on, you should see a low voltage (near zero volts).
If you see 12 volts and the switch is in the left turn position, the switch isn't grounding the signal. You could have a bad ground at the switch (unlikely if the right turn signal works), and or you have a bad connection between the connector pin and terminal of the switch, or the switch is bad. Inspect the terminal in the connector really good. Make sure the terminal or pin isn't damaged, corroded, or bent. Also look at the terminal and make sure it isn't opened up causing a poor connection.
If you don't see 12 volts when the problem is occurring, you could have a bad connection at the relay terminals or a wiring problem. From there you would have to make a connection at the relay terminal pin 7 to make sure you have 12 volts sitting there.

OK Discretesignals, that all makes sense to me but above my skill level, as I have no volt meter to do these tests. Looks like I am off to the dealership for a remedy. Thank you for you time and efforts in this matter.
