I recently purchased a car and have since only been able to start it with a screw driver. for some reason the ignition lock cylinder will not start the car. i starts perfectly when the cylinder is by passed but when in place it will not start. It will go all the way to on but will not even give me a sign of starting the car. As far as i know the problem should be as simple as getting a new ignition lock cylinder and putting that in but even that did nothing it showed the same symptoms. The few mechanics i've taken it too cant figure it out. Any help is much appreciated.
