Hello, I've searched google, my local library, and about 6 chiltons manuals looking for the fuse box diagram for my 98 civic dx 2dr. it keeps blowing a fuse, and I am unable to figure out which circuit is overloading. the entire fuse panel cover is missing, so a picture of which fuses are which numbers, along with a number key would be VERY much appreciated. thanks ahead of time for any and all help!

Hi Erik,

Basics here: What doesn't work when the fuse is blown? That's what it covers.

Also should be in owner's manual. T

I know this isn't what your hoping for but I'd look in the yellow pages for your local Honda service center & ask them or call (800) 999-1009 for Honda Automobile Customer Service. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time.

ok, so since I posted, I've found what I was looking for, and I've been able to identify where the problem is coming from(provided what I downloaded is accurate):

Original problem: Alternator wasn't charging the battery; speedometer would give erratic readings, if any; any and all things electrically illuminated would pulse while the motor was running. the lights would NOT pulse if I just started the car, but as soon as I put it in drive, the problem would repeatedly occur.

with the fuse diagram: I found that fuse number 15 is the one that keeps popping. according to the service manual(for 96-98 civics) that I downloaded, this is the circuit which has the following running on it:

*alternator
*VSS
*ELD unit(USA)
*EVAP purge control solenoid valve
*oxygen sensors
*TCM (CVT)

The service manual didnt really say what parts the acronyms stood for, but I'm fairly sure that is the correct fuse because I had to replace my alternator, and when the problem still persisted I found that the alternator was only putting out 12.69 instead of the usual flat 14. I am by no means a mechanic, although I am in the process of going to school for it so I can learn quick.

once again, thanks a ton guys

Edit: I do still have the service manual pdf I downloaded if anyone needs to take a look at that too. its 37mb though, so its not really 56k friendly haha my email is Tooncenator@hotmail.com.
